Do It For Up to 3 ½ Hours
Kevin Butt, environmental management lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston, Great Britain, spent four months filming lobworms in Finland. He discovered that worms in Finland like to have sex on the surface of the soil, while most of the rest of the species do it underground. "These worms are very choosy about who they have sex with but once they pick a mate, it can last for up to three-and-a-half hours," he explained. An infra-red security camera was used to film the worms because although they mate above ground, they always wait until it is dark.
