Raining Down Cum
Reproduction in seahorses involves reversed roles in respect to what most humans do. In the little seahorse, it is the female, who, during the "mating dance," circles the male, grabs him with her tail and then probes around with her cloacal appendage until she locates his brood pouch. She then transfers her eggs to the male, who will then fertilize them. In one species of seahorse, the male ejaculates, letting his sperm rain down on himself to fertilize the eggs. In a few weeks, he releases the baby seahorses and a new generation is born.
